Definitions

Service means any professional travel service offered by Green Isle Tours.

We/Us/Our means Green Isle Tours and any subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, officers, agents, or assigns.

You/Your means you as the customer using our services or website.

1. Services

We act as a travel agent and sell travel-related products and services to you. Our obligation is to facilitate travel bookings on your behalf, arrange relevant contracts between you and travel service providers, assist with travel documentation for bookings, and provide other travel-related services we deem necessary. By using our website and services, you authorize us to act on your behalf.

We exercise due care in selecting travel service providers, but we have no control over or liability for products and services provided by third parties and cannot guarantee the performance of any travel service provided.

We are not responsible or liable for any acts or omissions of third parties in relation to any travel products or services booked on your behalf.

Bookings made on your behalf are subject to the relevant travel service provider's terms and conditions, including conditions of carriage and limitations on liability. You must read the terms and conditions of travel service providers before allowing us to finalize your booking. We can provide copies of relevant terms and conditions upon request.

2. Website Use

The website is made available for your use upon your acceptance and compliance with these terms and conditions. By using this website, you agree to these terms.

You agree to use this website in accordance with all applicable local, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations.

You agree not to use, nor allow any third party to use, the website for any unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, fraudulent, or obscene purpose, or in any inappropriate manner that conflicts with the website or services.

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service to anyone at any time without notice.

3. Accuracy and Modifications

We take proper care to ensure information on this website is accurate. However, we cannot guarantee, nor accept legal liability for, the accuracy, reliability, currency, or completeness of anything contained on this website or linked sites.

We have the right to change or modify our Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. Changes will apply to any products or services provided after the modification date.

4. Health and Vaccinations

All travelers must ensure they are aware of health requirements and recommended precautions for their destinations and have all necessary vaccination documentation.

It is your responsibility to consult with your doctor or travel clinic to obtain necessary vaccinations and understand recommended precautions. We recommend consulting a healthcare professional at least 6-12 weeks prior to travel, as some vaccinations may require multiple doses.

We bear no liability for health conditions or illnesses that occur during travel. This must be managed through your travel insurance and healthcare providers.

5. Travel Documentation

Travel documentation includes airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers, and any document confirming arrangements with travel service providers, whether physical or electronic. Documentation may be subject to conditions and restrictions regarding refundability, changes, and cancellation charges.

Airline tickets must be issued in the name of the passport holder. You must verify that names on travel documentation are correct, as incorrect names may result in unusable tickets and booking cancellation. Please notify us within 48 hours if you notice any errors in names, dates, or times.

Green Isle Tours is not responsible for travel documentation lost by you or third parties. Any charges for reissuing and resending documentation are at your expense.

6. Fares and Prices

Airfares and prices are generally quoted in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) or US Dollars (USD), inclusive of applicable taxes. Final airfares and prices are subject to change until final payment is made.

Prices include applicable taxes, charges, and fees when stated and are subject to availability. Prices can be withdrawn or varied without notice. Price changes may occur due to factors outside our control, including currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, and tax increases.

7. Payment

Some services must be paid in full at booking time. For others, a deposit of 20% is required when making the booking.

Subject to applicable consumer laws and travel service provider refund policies, all deposits are non-refundable for changes of mind or customer cancellations.

Deposits hold reservations but do not guarantee prices. Prices are only guaranteed once final payment is made.

If final payment is not made by the specified date, your booking may be cancelled. We accept no responsibility for losses due to automatic cancellation.

8. Booking Fees, Cancellations, and Refunds

Cancellation or amendment of bookings may attract fees. Your travel consultant will notify you of these fees at booking time. We charge fees to recover expenses incurred for handling cancellations or amendments.

Travel service providers may charge cancellation and amendment fees. Combined fees can sometimes reach 100% of booking cost, even before travel commences.

Refunds are subject to travel service provider terms and conditions. We will provide reasonable assistance in claiming refunds but cannot provide refunds until we receive funds from service providers.

9. Special Requirements

If you have special requirements including disability access, seating requests, special meals, or room preferences, please inform us before booking. Special arrangements may not be possible after booking confirmation.

10. Your Responsibilities

You acknowledge that you are 18 years or older and have sufficient funds to pay for travel products and services.

You understand and agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

If booking for others, you warrant that you have conveyed these terms to them.

You are responsible for checking travel documentation accuracy and contacting us within 48 hours if information is incorrect.

Passport, visa, and required identification documents are your responsibility.

11. Travel Advice and Warnings

We recommend all travelers check government travel advisories and warnings for their destinations through official government travel websites.

Government bodies may issue advisory warnings not to travel to certain countries. While we may make bookings to such destinations at client request, we do so without responsibility or liability.

12. Limitation of Liability

We take no responsibility for accuracy of website content or service statements. All services are provided without warranty except as required by law. We are not liable for damages resulting from website or service use.

To the extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability for injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by third-party providers over whom we have no control, or events not preventable by reasonable diligence.

13. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes will be resolved by courts having jurisdiction in Sri Lanka.

We retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these terms in your country of residence or other appropriate jurisdiction.
